There are three current focus areas for the IC COE:
Purpose built ASIC/ASSP development supporting wireless power charging of various applications - EV, Mobility, Healthcare
IoT system development with novel AI/ML algorithms including image processing

Yes, the IC COE framework has multiple industry collaborators (growing list) that have already signed an MoU or are in discussions to sign one. Few such names are: Synopsys, GlobalFoundries, Electronics Center of Excellence (Bhubaneswar), Utah Tech Labs,
Yes, the IC COE is signing up with multiple global institutions for various projects. Although formal signing of the MoU is yet to be executed, there are already active collaborations started with many such institutions in India, Taiwan and the US.
Yes, the industry partners are sponsoring or facilitating several projects under the focus areas. They are also jointly supervising PhD research, as well as targeting to offer training (faculty and students), internship and hire.
Yes, they are participating in joint research. They will participate in joint proposal submissions, exchange visits, remote advising of PhD research and will result in joint publications and IP.
